How to become a member
Members of CETA can be companies active in the events sector (concerts, festivals, conferences, corporate, political and social events, theatrical, television, film and advertising productions, etc.) that provide services through equipment rental.
- Audio and lighting equipment
- Stages, metal scaffolding, grandstands, railings, dividers
- LED walls and projection equipment
- Support and suspension systems
- Musical instruments
- Stationary and self-propelled generators
- Effect machines (lasers, smoke, dry ice, CO2 jets, confetti, flame throwers)
- Tents, canopies
- Portable heating and cooling units
- Carpets, rugs, protective turf coverings
- Signage and display systems, aluminum and wooden panels and dividers
- Cameras, recording and broadcasting vans for television and audio signals
Besides the objectives set by the Association, whose achievement constitutes by definition a gain for all its members, there are also additional reasons that benefit those who participate in it:
- Networking with other professionals in the field, collaboration, and advice.
- Protection and promotion of their financial and professional interests.
- Ongoing updates through closed groups on social media platforms.
- Continuous training and updates on international developments in the industry.
- New collaboration opportunities among members and the establishment of the Association in similar organizations across the EU.
- The establishment of the logo as a quality mark in service provision will serve as a passport for participation in public and private events with clients from both the domestic and international markets.
Each prospective member initially completes the membership application form.
For a prospective member to be approved, the following criteria must be met:
- Must be a legal or natural person.
- The primary area of activity must be the provision of services and equipment as described above.
- Must be registered for VAT.
- Must have fully settled obligations to the Republic of Cyprus (Social Insurance, VAT, Tax Department, and any other taxes and fees), or have arranged a settlement plan for outstanding debts.
- Must hold Employer’s Liability Insurance (if employing permanent staff).
- Must hold Public Liability Insurance.
- A declaration by the legal representative stating that the business is active and not under liquidation, forced management, or bankruptcy.
- A declaration stating there is no conviction or pending case for a felony or misdemeanor committed with intent.
